It's too hard. I'm going to do it.

I know the basic knit stitch and purl stitch. I have knit wash cloths and a square small baby blanket. Now, to test my needle prowess. On to scarier things.

You can do it!!!! I am a beginning knitter (I have crocheted all my life). There is a neat book called the sweater workshop. It makes sweater making look so do-able!! It has you make a sampler that shows you the way all the different types of stitching looks. Here is mine..

Good for you!

Whenever I am hesitant to try something new and challenging my husband always asks me what the worst is that can happen, and it is never that bad, so I try it, with lots of encouragement and praise from him (even when it starts off looking kinda silly - I am trying to learn to crochet as I have knitting down).

So I offer you the same advice!

Good for you! Go for it? What's the worst that can happen? See, not scary at all, go for it and do your best to the glory of God!

It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Is it adult or children sized?

I learned to knit a few years ago and I made a pair of socks, but have barely knitted since then, not sure I even remember the basic stitches anymore :(
