Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies

Now you can tell from the name what "the favorite" around here is.
This recipe does come with variations, but when it comes to the choice of whether or not to add more chocolate to the batch the answer is obvious and unanimous. I have also added my honey whole wheat version along side the terribly unhealthy (guilt, guilt, guilt) version.
Chocolate, Chocolate Cookies
Heat oven to 350' (or 325' if you will be using honey)
In large mixer bowl cream:
1 1/4 cup of butter or margarine softened
2 cups of sugar (or 1 cup of honey)
until light and fluffy. (There's no fluff when using honey)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
beat well.
2 cups of flour (or 2 1/2-2/3/4 if you used honey)
3/4 cup of cocoa
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Blend into creamed mixture gradually.
Stir in:
2 cups of Chocolate chips or peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips.
Drop on cookie sheet. Bake 8 or 9 minutes. (You may have to cook longer if you used whole wheat and honey) Do not over bake! Cookies will be soft. They will puff while cooking and flatten while cooling. (Unless you used whole wheat flour and honey.) Let cool 5 minutes on cookies sheet before removing to cooling rack...Invite me over to have some...;o)
