Our Visit To Wallbuilders

Dawn, Dad, Mom, Me & Andrea.
Duke, Maria, Amber, Angela & Todd Rogers.
Mr. Barton was impressed to see all the men (big & little) in cowboy boots.
Listening to Mr. Barton in his office. They were very gracious in signing several books for us. Angela is fascinated with the buttons on the chair.

Mrs. Barton is just wonderful. It was a real pleasure to meet her.
Mr. Barton at his desk swaps hunting stories with Todd.
Dad looking at all the pictures of the Baton's with famous people...Roy Rogers, G.W. Bush, etc.

Mom's got Maria! This is the product room were we did a little, well...a lot, of shopping.

This is an old campaign ad. Unbelievable but true. Be sure to get the whole story here.

Mr. Barton shows us the very first bible printed in the United States...by Congress. Guess which version it is.

The rifle was 6 foot long or longer with the bayonet. The average man was 5'2". One of my favorite things in the library was a letter with a piece for George Washington's hair affixed to it by his wax seal as a commemorative of the man after his death. Apparently it was common practice to send out pieces of the deceased's hair to remember them by.

I think my favorite thing would have been the first Bible in the US -- Wow! Sounds like you had a great time. Hope everything is going smoothly for you all. Take care & eat your veggies. MK

Sounds like you all have been busy! What a priviledge to be with David Barton.

Seanna and I just got back from Mexico-we have been traveling off and on since San Antonio's film Festival! I am sure Seanna will put all the details on her blog.
